BIRD PEN BUILDING           May 15, 2023

An essential part of properly training a Spaniel is the introduction and exposure to birds in the field and water.  This obviously requires birds and they must be collected and properly cared for.

Feral Rock Doves (Pigeons), Chukar Partridge and Ring Neck Pheasants are used throughout the year for training and for official events. That requires quite a number of birds.

To that end, ESSA has built a (another)  new bird pen and acquired the equipment to properly care for the birds.    A significant amount of member time and association money went into making this pen.  It will allow us to get birds earlier in the year and  should serve members well for years to come.

Tim B with support got this job done.
